Carnival Theatre In The MSP Gym
Here we have carnival theatre in action. All the players wear costumes related to what we now call "traditional" mas which were the original costumes that were developed in the early years of the Trinidad carnival. In front is the "Midnight Robber" singing a calypso while the other characters support the performance. These include the "Baby Doll" (back left), behind Baby Doll is a "Sailor", the "Bookman" (2nd from right), and back right is a devil or "Jab".
