Mexico Beach, Florida took the brunt of Hurricane Michael on October 10th, 2018. The Category 5 Hurricane was the first to hit the the US (48 contiguous states) since 1992. It was the first Category 5 hurricane to hit the Florida panhandle. Significant damage and cleanup is observed everywhere 6 months later.
