After standing at the overlook, enjoying the view of Grand Prismatic Hot Spring for some time, my family and I headed back down the trail. As we descended, I saw a bison making his way towards the spring. I didn't care that it was uphill, I sprinted back up the trail in hopes that he would walk across the spring. He did not disappoint. Seeing this majestic creature meander across the myriad of colors is not a sight I will soon forget!
