In the little coastal village of Eersterivier ("first river") in the Eastern Cape, South Africa, we could just about touch the stars. This photo was taken out-of-season so there were just enough light to add reference points without spoiling the spectacular milky way. The ocean is in the right hand corner. The best things in life are certainly free.
