I'm always in awe of how clouds can change the landscape of an image. These dark grey storm clouds were following us throughout our entire tour of the Mammoth Lakes until they finally caught up to us and poured down hail and rain about 20 minutes after this photo was taken. I love the contrast between the dark grey of the clouds and the bright colors in the foreground of the image in the lake.
