    Edit Photo Details My Little Town-Living in the past.   #graveyard #headstone
    Part of Cadder Cemetery has the graves of service personnel buried there. This particular stone commemorates the service of Second Lieutenant( 2nd Lieutenant Pilot-in-Training, Pilot; Observer-in-Training, Observer ) David Wilson who died in July 1918 whilst seconded to the R.A.F.. Interestingly the larger memorial also marks his grave and appears to be of a much older vintage than the smaller stone. The R.A.F. was formed on 1/4/1918 from what was, originally, the Royal Flying Corps.
