Flakes
It was shot in Bourj Hammoud, Beirut, which is the home of Armenians who fled the massacres of WW1 and found refuge in it. A group of 5 old women (aged 70+) were cutting red peppers and putting them in small glass jars, for the purpose of making hot paste. They were not washing the red peppers since water supply is not provided daily in Beirut, especially in poor areas. They allowed only their hands to be photographed and refused to show their wrinkly and experienced faces to the camera.
