Techtonic Movement
The limestone "fins" that reach the sky in Garden of the Gods. Ancient sedimentary beds of deep-red sandstones and limestone that were deposited horizontally, but have now been tilted vertically by the immense mountain building forces caused by the uplift of the Rocky Mountains. Breathtaking rock formations that are not so easy to see in other places. Shot around 2 years ago on my first trip to Colorado. Since then I've been wanting to go back.
