Go West!
Higarigaoka Park in Tokyo traces its origins to a green space project to celebrate the 2,600th year since the founding of Japan in 1940. When WW2 broke out, it was converted to a military airfield. Today it is the peaceful green space it was meant to be. This sunflower is from a garden in Hirgarigaoka Park. A very beautiful place I go to relax with friends and family. This garden mostly gets midday and evening sun due to the surrounding trees.
