As the last warm rays of sunlight licked the top of Seljalandsfoss in southern Iceland, I was amazed at the display of light and the extreme nature of the conditions around me. Spray from the falls had frozen to the rock face beside and behind the falls and had completely frozen onto the grass and rocks in front of me. The rainbow added to the magic of this place.
