More than 1000 Flamingos were residing in Mannar, Northern Sri Lanka during the migratory season end of 2018 and beginning of 2019. These early rising birds make great silhouettes against the rising sun. Oblique framing was an effort to include more sky, wider horizon - more Flamingos, and less foreground.
