    Edit Photo Details Grand Canyon Of Bengal   #gongoni
    Gongoni a place in the town of Garhbeta,east midnapur some 180 kms from the capital city of Kolkata,West Bengal. The area is compared to grand canyon of USA because of its similarity to it. The area is surrounded with red laterite soil caused by the erosion caused by silabati river. I clicked this place on a winter day with my 18mm-55mm wide angle lens.
