The first thing I noticed was how the sun was lighting up the fine hairs on this wild Prairie Smoke. From a distance it was like balls of fluff in the middle of the field. As I got closer it seemed a tiny galaxy had settled right in front of me. The way the sunlight played on the flower was like thousands of tiny stars to me. I was just so struck by it. It's only a simple wild flower, but for me, at that moment, ... a tiny universe all to myself.
