Land of lights and shadows. So many mountains around, and only one two lanes road to reach the highest towns away from the ocean. La Serena & Coquimbo, both coastal cities, are often cloudy in the morning, even in summer. They expect around 300.000 visitors, number equal to the population of the area combined. I wish I could be there but, by the other hand, it will be a very long day for commuters and tourists going up the valley and back down to the city. Enjoy the eclipse if you can!
