A beak full of berry; difficult to tell
The Bar Throated Minla is basically found in the montane forests right through India to Malaysia. And here in kurseong they are present in large numbers. Being very small and restless, it is very difficult to spot them in the dense and thick leaves of the trees. When I saw this snap, it appeared as if the Minla had a yellow spot below its beak. At closer glance it became clear that the Minla had a full beak of the berry it had plucked from the tree.
