These elephants were seen in afternoon at Halali waterhole in Etosha. Etosha elephants are one of the tallest in Africa, but their tusks are small. Etosha is towards north in Namibia, with area of 22270 sq. kms and with 5000 sq. kms of depression in its heart. Once was a large inland lake, fed by rivers. It dried up 120 million years ago, from continental drift. It is home to hundreds of species of mammals, birds and reptiles.
