The culture of making earthenware is dying because there is not much demand in the household now-a-days. Few of the pottery artists which are left in the city heavily rely on the revenue generated through the idols used in the festivals. While creating this photo, I remembered my childhood days where we used to buy this kind of pot from vendors who used to roam in bicycles and were famously called 'Matkiwala'.
