While out for a walk in one of our nearby wetlands, I was fortunate to find a Barn Swallow fledgling sitting on cattail. I decided to watch it for a while in hopes that its parent might arrive with dinner. My patience was rewarded as sure enough, its parent arrived a few minutes later to deliver dinner.
