I took this shot in Manang on a three week trek with my dad along the Annapurna Circuit and into the Upper Mustang Valley in Nepal. Trekking during monsoon season had its upsides with few other people around, but the snow-capped peaks were often shrouded in clouds. Still, we made the best of it and enjoyed the views when the clouds parted for brief periods of the day. I believe this is a sliver of either Annapurna II or III peaking through the clouds. Truly an extraordinary place!
