The final stop on Tasman National Park's 3 Capes Track is the Totem Pole; the most Iconic of the park's dolerite sea stacks. At the tip of Cape Huay, it is the final epic view after 46 km of stunning lookouts from sheer walls of rock. It was my first week in Tassie back in 2016 and I was still jet-lagged. Skirting along these towering sea cliffs was exhilarating and jump-started what was to be an action-packed 6 month expedition. I would return several times, but with a rope instead of a tent.
