Copper Smith Barbet- upside Down
Copper-smith Barbet, are mainly fruit eaters. They forage fruits berries and figs mostly on upper branches preferably in shades of foliage. These Barbets hop and clamber about trees and often perch still for long periods. They use the first two feeding angles quite commonly. They perch and climb well and have 'two toes forward, two toes back' foot structure that allows for a good grip. This is a grasping or perching foot, and in climbing a near-vertical branch the outer toe may be swung forward.
