Last winter I began a short project of collecting owl pellets from one of the urban owls I follow. This collection of bones were from four pellets coughed up over a few days. I spent a an afternoon picking through the pellets gathering all of the bones. My goal was to try to track what the owl was eating in the small park it lived in. I was surprised at how many birds, and least shrew it was catching. After cleaning the bones i arranged them for this shot to document what a the owl was eating.
