    Sometimes it almost seems to correlate: the farther off the beat path you get, the more susceptible to wonder you become. Each step has a way of sloughing off the perceived obligations and stresses we load on ourselves each day. Even if you enter the backcountry feeling down, you get far enough out and you realize the only thing left to do is look up.
