Though most of the Osprey fledglings in my area are close to leaving the nest, the adults will continue to build their nest. Sometimes larger sticks are brought in to shore up the edges of the nest to keep the young ones in until the adults are ready to coax them out of the nest. The building also continues so when these Ospreys return the next season the nest will still be in good shape. Mates remain as mates from one season to another but travel separately when the mating season ends.
