Being caught disconnected from the world gives a feeling of solitude. People are scared to be lonely that without other people around them they lack the feeling of being accepted. But being alone and being lonely are different. You can be around a hundred people and still feel lonely and disconnected. The only way you’d feel accepted is if you accept yourself and who you are and remember that other people’s actions have nothing to do with you.
