In Malaga, my city, there is a unique traditional dish: the "espetos" of sardines. It is a very simple dish: they take the sardines, add a little salt, they are impaled with a cane and put on the grill. Normally, a small boat filled with sand from the beach. "Espetar" sardines is an art and one of my best memories of childhood is that of my grandfather making them for the whole family on the beach.
