Edit Photo Details The station of Sa Bento, Porto, Portugal   #stationshistoryplacestravelazulejos
The station of São Bento is situated on the place d'Almeida Garrett in the beautiful town of Porto. It is considered as the most beautiful station in the world with the walls covered in 20.000 azulejos done by the painter Jorge Colaço. The station was constructed in the XXe century. The history of Portugal is illustrated on these panels as well as the history of the transports in Portugal. Just beautiful.
