Inside the dome of the Reichstag 1
An inverted cone in the middle of the dome with reflected light illuminates the inside of the building to provide light for the public who read about the history of Berlin in glass tables centered around the cone and highlights the public on the viewing spiraling platforms who have a 360-degree view of Berlin. A electronic viewing guide explains that over eight hundred tons of steel and 3000 square meters of glass was used to build the structure with 360 mirrors on the cone to provide daylight.
