    Edit Photo Details How to eat a clam   #beach #bc #springtime #early_morning #grizzly_bear #khutzeymateen #eating_clam #large_claws
When this grizzly bear dug up a clam it broke open the shell and grabbed the meat with its teeth and used its paw to help strip off residual bits of shell. Khutzeymateen Inlet, BC. It was a lot of effort for relatively little nutrition, so clams must be like candy for the grizzlies. Of course, I'd be turned off by the amount of sand and mud that accompanied this treat.
