Green Streetcar
Streetcars. In New Orleans, these things are streetcars. Not trams. Not trollies. Locals make a big deal out of that. Once upon a time they ran everywhere. Even through The French Quarter. Every now and then, you can see rails booking up through the streets. Along came the rubber, car and fuel companies. One by one, the streetcar routes disappeared. Buses replaced most of them. Now, just as in Los Angeles, new rail routes are being built. Not this one. The green streetcars never disappeared.
