Not all time is spent working in Thorne Bay. A community potluck and local fireworks enthusiasts send up a display from "Bob's Island out in the bay. The island is named for "Bob" a local eagle who wisely left his favorite roost tree before the fireworks started. He was back to reclaim his kingdom by morning.
