The Alaskan Dream arrives at the dock in Thorne Bay. We always look forward to its arrival, as well as it's 40 passengers. Friends of the Thorne Bay Library lead walking tours of the town. With the small groups we make many new friends and enjoy showing what Alaska is really like. The dream visits four times a month. This is much different than the large cruise ships where you travel with 6000 of your best friends!
