I could not ID this beetle with the books I have nor via searches of the internet. Hope someone can help out with a qualified guess as to family name. Sorry I do not have a better photo, this guy moved fast. Reddish brown with black spots for and aft on the wings, and black at top of head. Legs and antennae reddish brown. Photo taken at water's edge, lake Lelang, near Kråkviken, Sweden. Resembles C. lateralis except for wing color and pattern.
