This is Carol working in the kitchen of the Track Kitchen in Aiken, SC.She (with the help of her son and granddaughter) run the restaurant that caters to the local horse crowd. For the locals it is tradition. She used to run it with her husband, "Pockets",but sadly he passed away last year.It is not fancy and is only open for breakfast and it has an atmosphere all of its own.We loved it there. The dollar is reminder of when "Pockets" used to cater to the local stables before he opened this place.
