Valerie George, an artist, a Full Professor at the University of West Florida, and fighting her third recurrence of breast cancer. Her work has been exhibited in numerous art museums and galleries both nationally and internationally. My wife and I attended her Welcome To My Party solo exhibition featuring Ms. George's work and were fortunate enough to meet this courageous woman.
