Waiting for a Wedding ceremony to begin, there were people on their phones,others talking,kids playing, when this lovely Mother caught my eye. Among all the goings on, I was drawn to her closed eyes, and the soft knowing smile on her face. I hope (and like to think) that she was realizing what I remember feeling when I was holding my Children at this age. That these are some of the most precious moments in your life. And to know it at the time, is a true blessing. She radiated contentment.
