Super thin Crescent Moon
This photo was taken on the day before the partial eclipse. The part of the moon that was illuminated is only 1%. Because the moon rises and the sunrise is relatively close that morning, the super thin moon phase is easily swallowed by the morning light. I waited a good weather, and found a beautiful foreground, I increasing contrast to make the thin moon more visible.
A setting sun in China makes silhouettes of both moon and temple.
