I was in Varanasi exploring the ghats and searching for some interesting frames and then i saw that "hand fan" (pankhi). That drews my attention. I went close to that aged lady and saw she was silently reciting "guru mantra". Guru mantra is being recited after u have taken Guru dakshina. In Varanasi many people come to take guru dakshinas and recite them at ghats only.
