Fly Fishing
A planted trout in a man-made lake gets taken out to lunch by a bald eagle... a species making a major comeback in the northern Sierra of California. This is one of a nesting pair raising two fledglings that will hopefully make their home somewhere nearby, a small step in a very long journey for the species, made possible at least partly because of human efforts to protect them. The lake is one reservoir in a chain of lakes which provide electricity, irrigation, and drinking water for humans.
