resurrection lily
We came home from vacation to find that a patch of resurrection lilies had bloomed in a spot that we had previously cleared. They made me smile for so many reasons. They seemed to spring to life amidst all odds against them, having been mowed down, dug out and left to die. It really rejuvenated my spirit, reminding me that no matter how hard life gets, with strong roots and a good foundation, anything is possible.
