My husband and I do some philanthropic work in medicine. Our goal...to leave the world a better place than when we got here. We are currently sponsoring a project regarding stem cell research. The manager of the research facility at UC San Diego, allowed me to take some pictures of the lab and several projects. Here, a researcher is processing Ribonucleic acid from shoulder tissue. RNA is one of the three major biological macromolecules that are essential for all known forms of life.
