In a little village of Kenchanagudda by the River Tungabadhra. These fisher man and woman go fishing during the summer when the water in the river is not flowing, the water is reserved in the catchment of the embankments made for irrational purposes. In this picture we see the woman beating the water with a long stick. this is to frighten the fishes inside the water causing chaos, the fish frantically move and get trapped in the net. this type of fishing is unique and is done in still water.
