Ancient Bristlecone and Milkyway
The black moon month of July coupled with the Southern Delta Aquariids meteor shower took me to the White mountains of Inyo national forest in California. Though located right across from the eastern sierras, the white mountains are very dry and devoid of moisture in the air giving for very clear skies. Photographed here is a bristlecone tree light painted with a warm light. The core of the milkyway along with Jupiter shine through clear skies.
