Vanishing Grandeur
I thought about climate change a lot on my last adventure. As I trekked through the snowy French Alps in 37 degrees celcius, I thought about how heatwaves aren't really that rare anymore, and have just become the new normal. I thought about how the glorious snow-capped peaks and imposing glaciers will be a thing of the past in my generation. Grateful I can still capture a fleeting moment of icy beauty today, but also a little bit helpless for tomorrow.
