I have made several visits to the land of Israel but this was my first time visiting in Spring. After receiving the highest amount of rainfall that broke a five-year drought, much life was sprouting forth from the ground. The Valley of Elah, where the famous biblical battle of David defeating Goliath the giant once took place, was covered with an abundance of crop that will soon be matured by the latter rain for harvest.
