Mysore palace, was redesigned in 1897 by British architect Henry Irwin after the original wood version (established by the Royal Wodeyar family in the 14th century) was destroyed. The palace seen today was completed in 1912. The palaces have many styles including Hindu, Islamic, gothic, and rajput.
