Not an easy image to share but important as the man-made dams have wreaked havoc on nature. This was taken late May, 2018 in northern Arizona (Navajo Nation). A week or so before I took this the media shared how many wild horses had come down from the vistas (seen in back) in search of water and had gotten stuck & died in mud holes. These two remained, dehydrated and starving. I happened upon them by chance & tried to get them help. To this day I am still uncertain of their fate.
