Sinking City 1
There are many sinking cities in the world, the fastest being Indonesia's capital, Jakarta. Rising sea levels caused by climate change is the main reason parts of these cities are slowly disappearing. This is inland sea and the piece of land that makes a line is Muara Baru. It is sinking at a rate of 25cm per year. It is predicted that a huge percentage of north Jakarta will be under water by 2050. At the same time, high rise buildings keep sprouting up here, next to the slums.
