A 1/8 sec exposure of pond heron in flight creates calligraphic art. I regularly visit the lake near my home on weekends. This time I decided to shoot some long exposure shots for a change. I was waiting for this heron to cross the dense tree island in the middle of the lake to get this contrasting backdrop.
