A hidden gem in the Atlantic Ocean, right next to São Miguel, lays this small volcanic islet. I stumbled across this one while driving the coastal road and I knew it could be outstanding to get an aerial perspective. Woke up twice for sunrise, drove to the area to find clouds weren't going to unfold. First day I left, second I had no other chance, however, a break in the clouds allowed the light to hit the islet on the side and that was one of the most pristine moments of the trip.
